Today marks Canada’s first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, honouring the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities. On behalf of all the staff at Body Back in Motion, we grieve with our Indigenous members, families, and patients for the children who suffered and never returned home, and acknowledge the tragedy of the residential school system. Understanding our history and its continued impact is essential to reconciliation. The recoveries of over a thousand unmarked graves this year is a national tragedy. This week and for the rest to follow, we stand in solidarity with Survivors and all Indigenous Peoples.

Chiropractor’s Assistant Body Back in Motion is seeking a part time leading into full time chiropractic assistant. Are you looking for a fulfilling career that is exciting, full of potential and helps others? Do you want to work in a beautiful, bright environment with flexible hours? If you do then we want you!... Your duties include assisting the chiropractor, physiotherapist or kinesiologist. You will be hands on with our patients. Training is provided on a continuous basis, with full management support. Applicant must be dynamic, fast paced, independent working, able to take direction, show initiative. Chiropractic and physiotherapy are now open for more patients! We still can’t do hot packs at this time, but we are working on ways to encorporate this part of the treatment back in. You can now use the regular doors to come in and out. ... Screening protocols and enhanced cleaning protocols are still being incorporated and we appreciate if you could wear a mask so that our staff and family’s can stay protected. We have surgical masks for purchase and will soon have amazing reusable masks for sale as well. We all can’t wait to see you!

We have been working hard to implement changes since the very beginning. A lot has changed at Body Back in Motion, but we still have your care as our top priority. We got your back!!!!

We are now open for regular chiropractic and physiotherapy appointments! Yay! With that being said, it will be a slow growth and we have a lot of rules and regulations to comply with. We really appreciate your patience and grace as we navigate these waters that we have never had to deal with before! Here are some of the changes that are happening:... -we have Ashley at the front who will do a COVID screen on you and take your temperature before entering the clinic -please wear a mask for our protection and those around you...we will have disposable ones you can purchase if you forget and we will have handmade reusable ones in the near future -use the hand sanitizer provided upon entering and exiting the clinic -no gloves allowed unless you sanitize your hands and apply brand new ones upon entering and take them off and discard when you exit -NEW: please enter through the front doors off Main Street and exit through the back doors at the parking lot (unless of course, you physically cannot walk around the building) -no more hot packs will be provided (for sanitary reasons and time as we have no assistants) -because of the time needed to sanitize between patients and the fact that we have to comply with keeping patients 2 meters apart, we can only see one patient ever 1/2 hour...this is going to increase our wait times! We sincerely apologize for this, but we are trying our best to keep everyone safe and comply with our governing bodies regulations -no walk ins, by appointment only -please be on time...not early and not late for your appointments. We can no longer have people waiting in the waiting room. If you are early, please wait in your car. Thank you all so much for your patience and kind words over this trying time. We can’t wait to see you all and get your Body Back in Motion!!!!

Well, we weren’t in Doug Ford’s Phase 1 of business that can reopen. So, we are using this time to make the clinic safe for our employees and patients to come back when it it time. The clinic has been professionally cleaned and sterilized, PPE has been acquired and new policies are in place. When we do reopen, there will be many changes, but the same great quality of care!...
