Body Blitz Spa is celebrating our 15th year in business! Locally owned and operated, Body Blitz Spa was conceptualized when founder, Laura Polley, visited a therapeutic waters spa in the famous spa town of Baden-Baden, Germany. With the help of her sister, Rena, Laura wanted to bring the joy and peace she found in the European spas to Toronto, and create a space to relax, replenish, and rejuvenate in the heart of the city. We've had some questions about what the experience is like now at Body Blitz Spa, so we wanted to highlight some of the precautions we're taking: Personal Protective Equipment: All of our Spa Therapists, RMTs, and staff have been equipped with PPE and are required to have a daily health check upon arrival. ... Increased sanitization: on top of our normal cleaning protocols, we're making sure the spa is cleaned more frequently and with medical-grade sanitization. We will provide you with freshly laundered Body Blitz Spa robe and towels, and disinfected sandals. Limiting Capacity: We are limiting the number of guests allowed in to the spa to allow safe distancing. What we ask of you: Booking ahead: We're asking that you book the Therapeutic Waters ahead and use them before your Body Treatment or Massage so we can safely manage the number of clients inside at one time. Masks & Hand Sanitizer: Wear your mask in the waters and during a treatment, to keep yourself and others safe. We also ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided and wash your hands often during your visit. Social distancing: there are blue markers placed around the edges of the pools to ensure proper distancing is maintained between clients.
