Effective Monday December December 14, Body Beautiful will be closed for the minimum of 28 days. This is a significant impact to small businesses like ourselves and we need your help more than ever. Phase 3 Opening Update Phase 3 opening plans were announced today and we are thrilled to hear that facials and other facial grooming services will be included. Though York Region still remains in Phase 2, this is very positive news. It has been a slow difficult reopening with the restrictions but we are happy that the phased approach is being done safely. The health of our clients, staff and community is our number one priority. We continue to take a wait list for all our fa...cial services. We’re Baaack! We are so glad to finally been giving the green light to re-open our doors with some limitations to our services. Body Beautiful will re-open Friday June 19 at 9:00 a.m. with RMT available starting Monday, June 22. We will be contacting all clients on our re-opening list in the coming days to schedule your appointment as well as accept all new requests for services.... Please note that the spa still remains closed till June 19 therefore we will be checking messages daily (towards the end of the day) so please be patient if we don't answer or return your call right away. Body Beautiful is committed to the health and wellness of our staff and guests. Body Beautiful has always practiced the highest level of disinfection protocols, but here are a few extra measures we have taken: We've increased the frequency of cleaning including disinfecting of doorknobs, railings, walls, light switches, etc. after each guest. You touch, we disinfect. Sanitizers will be placed throughout the spa for your convenience. We have installed touch-less soap dispensers and a paper towel dispenser in our washroom. Our staff will be wearing PPE in the form of gloves and face masks changed after every guest as well as face shields. We are spacing out appointments times so that we can limit the number of guests in the spa at one time to enable social distancing. Here are a few extra steps we will be introducing and where we ask for you to help as well: Please do not attend the spa if you are feeling under the weather. A screening questionnaire will be required upon check-in, and our staff have the right to refuse and reschedule any appointments following the recommendations outlined by York Region Public Health. We are requiring mandatory face masks while in the spa for our staff as well as our valued customers. Please wear a face mask and keep a safe social distance while in the spa. If you do not have a face mask, one will be provided for you. You're temperature may be taken when you arrive with a no contact infrared thermometer. Unless you need personal assistance, please come to your appointment alone to help us reduce the number of people in the spa at any given time. As always, please be punctual for your appointment as we are buffering more time between our appointments to decrease cross over traffic. Please use hand sanitizer upon entering the spa as provided when you arrive. We request the use of cashless payment when possible. As a small business, Body Beautiful has been greatly affected by COVID-19 and we look forward to welcoming you back. We will not be increasing the prices of our services at this time, but we are implementing a $5 surcharge per guest visit to help share the costs of these additional measures. Please note that our hours of operation may change as we enter the reopening stage. Body Beautiful will not be accepting any third party gift cards at this time.
