Eight years ago I started on a journey of self healing , and this journey led me to LIVEWELL FITNESS and to meeting Richard on the recommendation of a friend, a...nd today it was the best decision I've ever made. For those of you who have known me I've had ups and downs in my life, personal issues as well with my weight and insecurities and it came to a point where I had to start thinking of myself because without helping myself to be healthy I cannot take care of my son. If you want change you have to go get it, it will not come to you nor will it happen on its own. It had to come to a point in my life where I had to put me first before others, it was difficult to do but I had to make that time and I did without sacrificing time with my son. And now today I'm stronger, healthier and no longer battling my insecurities. I feel better about myself and finally love myself. I couldn't be any happier. I am not at my ideal weight yet or where I would like my body to be but I am a work in progress (body under construction), and I can't wait to see what the next year of full dedication to my training is going to bring. Keep in mind this was my personal goal so set your own and go get it. FYI it didn't take me 8 years to get to this point. My weight has been up and down for many years for many different reasons which made me quit the gym, then start again, the quit again and start again. It was this past year that I had enough of making excuses to not go to the gym like I'm tired, I can't afford a gym, I don't have time, or I am a full time single parent , what if I can't do the exercises , I have no one to go with and the list goes on. Enough was enough. This time I had to stick with my goal and continue the journey I started. This transformation literally happened within the last 6 months. In saying all this I would like to thank Richard at A1Fitness Studio ( old Livewell Fitness) because honestly I could not have done it without him. Yes I did the work but I had his help, support, motivation, continued encouragement, and Belief in me, I can go on but I will stop there. See more
