The Female Aging Body Project: Understanding Perspectives on Health, Body Image, and the Aging Body to Inform Healthy Aging Policy We would like to invite you to take part in a research project exploring Women’s Perspectives on Health, Body Image, and the Aging Body. As researchers we are interested in learning more about how women aged 60+ experience aging, beauty, health, and the changing body. We would also like to know how these ideas impact your use of health care services and your health behaviors. Your thoughts and feedback will be very helpful to us in this work. As a participant you will be invited to take part in a focus group to explore ideas about health, beauty, and aging. This may take 1 to 1.5 hours. If you wish to continue in the study, you will be also invited to take part in a follow up 1 hour individual interview to describe your experiences in further detail. Your participation will help researchers and people working with adults to better understand what aging is like. The research will help those who work in healthy aging programs so that everyone can continue to be supported in leading healthy, active lives.
