The most powerful medicine we possess is our power of choice. And the choice is the first ingredient to forgiveness. Forgiveness can complete your own healing. It releases you from energy patterns that could otherwise contribute to illness or drain our vitality and wellness. ... Often we might find ourselves at a crossroad of whether we are ready and willing to forgive another for wrongs done to us but we need to ask ourselves "how does it serve me to remain stuck in resentment, anger, or blame". When we exercise our power to choose then we allow ourselves to shift our perceptions and therefore our path. Forgiving does not mean forgetting. And it does not mean having to love others again. That too is a choice you can decide to make. It's about taking back the energy that is bound up with the feeling you have about certain people or situations. Consider what you may not have forgiven yet.
