Which should I do first? Cardio? Or weights? Cardio should always be performed AFTER a weight training workout. This is mainly because cardio causes protein synthesis to drop and negatively affect your body’s ability to build muscle. Cardio is not for everyone, and in most cases, can be avoided completely. Send us a DM or give us a call and we can discuss your options!!

What should I eat BEFORE & AFTER a workout? During a workout your body will need energy to fuel your muscles, and this comes in a few different ways. The first to think about is protein: protein stimulates muscle protein synthesis, which is important for new muscle gain and muscle recovery. The second to think about is Carbs: Carbs are best for the body Pre AND Post workout as that is when your body will tolerate them the best. In conclusion, you want to keep your fat intake less than 3 grams pre and post workout. See more
