Today's update on not being able to re-open; at earliest Jan. 21, was hard to hear. These days I have to check my attitude constantly; right now I am keeping the faith. We will celebrate BIG at the other side of this challenge!

Another Update from the organizers of the fundraiser to support families in Nicaragua What an amazing start to the Race Against Hunger. We are both humbled and grateful for your enthusiasm and support. Loving the sweaty selfies!!! Keep em comin'. A Few Highlights... Together, we have collectively trekked 2,347 kilometers, and raised $14,429. Simply amazing!!! As you know, we have put the dollars raised thus far into immediate action. We are thrilled that we will be increasing the number of families receiving a weekly food package from 30 to 50, starting next week. Every $25 dollars raised feeds a family of four for a week. Food distribution will continue through until the end of March. The more we raise the more we can do!! See more
