Stress levels are high and people are scared. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to not be able to wear a mask? The looks, the judgment, the cruel comments... I’ve defended someone that can not wear a mask and am horrified by how mean people can be. I beg you to stop judging what you don’t know. Be kind and if you can’t be kind then maybe you need to stay home.

For gyms and fitness centers, masks must be worn in all common areas and during lower intensity workouts. Patrons undertaking more intense workouts may be unable to wear a mask during these periods. The mask should be replaced as soon as the patron has recovered a normal rate of breathing. Additional guidance is going to be released shortly that will further speak to masking requirements and physical distancing for more intense activities

Rumors are going wild!!! So I will tell you straight from the horses mouth, THE GYM DOES NOT HAVE COVID! We had 1 client who tested positive 4 days after being... at the gym. This client was not within 6 feet of any other members and followed all Covid protocols wiping and disinfecting everything. At the time there were only 4 people in the gym and they were all notified immediately. We have been talking with VIHA and the BCCDC. It was a low risk exposure. They have assured us that our Covid protocols are all on point. On a personal note I assure you that the gym is extremely clean every piece of equipment is disinfected before and after use. We have very strict rules. We do not allow new members or drop ins. We put our clients health first. BUT it is true that Covid is now in the Oceanside area so we ask everyone to be extra cautious, stay safe and be KIND. See more

WE ARE OPEN The newest provincial restrictions are not for the Island and they do not include gyms (only fitness classes like spin and yoga). We are open and still being as safe as always #socialdistancing #stayingsafe

In these confusing times we have decided to remain OPEN on Remembrance Day. Normally we close on this day and I feel it is important to show respect. However, this is a different year and with no services and "Covid burn" out I think it will be kinder to be open. A little exercise is the very best thing for our mental health.
