Life and Birth Work: Chelsea Snelgrove CBP CD 26.02.2021

This was an extra special #birthday supporting my nephews journey earth side. Is it just me or are brand new babies just THE sweetest!? This is what this mama had to say:... To say Chelsea is a spectacular doula, is an understatement. She is gentle, honest, open, smart and undeniably kind. She allows you to question, to be heard and answers each question with thought and detail. Coming from a place of understanding, she’s helps you and your partner navigate the uncertainty that is pregnancy and parenthood. Each decision we made felt right and felt good, especially since she presented each side with out bias or opinion. She was fully involved and supportive during our labour. The tips and tricks she had for us as we rolled through the most intense 30 hours of our life, were invaluable. Having full support for not only me, but my partner was the most beautiful gift. Our birth plan drastically changed within the last few hours and having Chelsea there is something that we will always cherish. She was calm, collected and helped me to feel confident to ask questions so even though my birth didn’t go as planned, I still felt empowered. This is Chelseas calling, she is brilliant and knowledgeable. You can feel her passion throughout the whole entire process. We will forever be thankful we chose her as our Doula and will absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants to have the utmost support during this beautiful and messy time of transition that is pregnancy, birth and parenthood! Thanks for choosing me as your doula

Having a doula can reduce total labour time by 40 minutes!! Birthers and babies are also statistically more likely to have better outcomes with the continuous support (someone who never leaves their side) provided by a birth doula. Click the link in my bio or contact me directly to learn more!

Good food, people, and experiences. Just a few of my favorite things. Combining them all together and MUAH *insert chefs kiss here*. What are a few of your favorite things?

These girls. Powerful in their own right. Unique in their own way. They have their own pulse. Their own way of existing in this world.... And I do not fit them into small boxes. I watch them bloom and grow. Despite what is comfortable. That is my role as their parent. To watch them come alive. To come alive in my body. To bob as they weave. To laugh as they learn. To learn as they laugh. To challenge. To be challenged. Sh*t am I challenged. To be more me. To know more of them. My loves. My gift. A gift to the world. I’m blessed. You’re welcome. Get ready. These girls. : @hopehelmer

Sounds easy enough am I right? If this is hard for you please do not beat yourself up. We’re not taught to ask for what we want we are taught to be happy with what we get.... The problem is the universe is always listening. If you are always settling it is not going to give you more. Whatdoyouwant!? daily life relationships career ambitions ALL THE THINGS Get clear. The universe is listening. Then, get ready to receive it.

Hello!! I’m Chelsea. Woman who wears many hats-both literally and figuratively. Jokester. Mama. Wife. BodyTalk Practitioner. Liberator. Human Design reader. Doula. Empath. Generator. Hermit. Role model. Student. Teacher. Intuitive. Expert. Justice seeker. Friend. Sister. Entrepreneur. Human. There is no one thing that defines me so here you will see the spectrum that represents my work and myself. Learning. Growing. Evolving.... I approach my work with gentleness, humor, and without BS. When tensions get high I get grounded. I’ve always done well in high stress, high pressure circumstances. I am able to stabilize to help facilitate others through big emotions and life experiences. It is absolutely an asset in the work that I do. Being able to share with you guys on this platform, brings me so much joy. I can not wait to keep connecting with everyone and to show my life. Honest and unfiltered(ish ) with all of my many hats. #bodytalk #doula #birth #humandesign

I wanted to do my part to take some of the workload off of parents-to-be!! If you are wanting a doula to support you in your birth, these are the current up to date policies in the #lakelandregion as of October 30, 2020. I will continue to share these updates and do my part in reducing the unknowns of birthing during this time. A doula is a non-medical support person that can positively impact birth in the following ways:... better birth outcomes consistent predictable support decrease stress increase self confidence decrease complications for birthing person and baby improve breastfeeding outcomes If you are pregnant or know someone giving birth please share this with them so they are aware they have options https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3647727/ #doula #familycenteredcare #birthbetter #empoweredbirth #bodytalkdoula #support #youcomefirst

2 out of 3 of these babes are our rainbows. One could argue they’re all rainbows. After our first loss I felt anger, shame, isolation, and confusion. At the time we lost our first baby, I didn’t really know anyone else that had experienced #pregnancyloss ... After our experience I had beautiful conversations with family, friends, and clients. Honest conversations about loss; life after loss; love after loss; pregnancy after loss (a whole different experience- more to come). The truth is that it is so hard to lose someone you love. Whether it’s 7 weeks, 12 weeks, 14 weeks, or more. Losing a child pierces the heart like nothing else (in my experience). If you are in this space of loss and grief please know; you are not alone, it is the worst, and you and your baby(ies) are seen and loved. #pregancylossawareness #doulasupport #humanexperience
