Attention! We have some good news for our massage clients! New government guidelines for returning for massage appointments at Body Works Massage & Esthetics: Just a few things have changed -... 1. You are now required to have a referral or a prescription for massage from a Regulated Health Professional (Doctor, Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, etc.) that has been written in the last 12 months. We need to be provided with a copy of this referral/prescription prior to your appointment. This requirement will be in place until it is terminated by the CMOH. (I believe it is safe to say that if you have an appointment booked in January or are hoping to have an appointment in January, to ensure you get a referral so you are able to attend. Please contact us via our Body Works Facebook page if you require a referral form. 2. Previously, it was allowed that while laying prone (face down) during your massage the mask could to be removed. However it is now highly recommended to have clients wear the mask for the entire duration of their appointment. If there is a medical condition preventing you from doing this, please make us aware and other arrangements can be made for your appointment. 3. All previous protocols are still in place: - Cancel your appointment if you are feeling unwell or have any COVID/Flu/Cold like symptoms, have come into contact with someone who is COVID positive/waiting results, or if you have travelled in the last 14 days. - Wear your mask and sanitize upon entering the spa. - Do not arrive more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment unless asked otherwise. - Keep a distance of 2 meters if you see someone in the waiting area. - Staff will be sanitizing common areas regularly and wearing all proper PPE for your safety and theirs. *Not all therapists may be returning immediately, and schedules may have changed. Please be patient as we try to accommodate everyone as best we can.* *Please note that the spa is open by appointment only for massage appointments, and that unfortunately we are still unable to accommodate any esthetic appointments until further notice.* Thank you all for your patience during these times!
