Being 100% real with you, filming the FaceTime parts of my courses is the most challenging because I have to memorize my lines - this tells me that acting is definitely not in the cards for me! (it’s linked in my bio if you want to check out either of my courses!)

A breath of life and color for this cozy breakfast book we reframed my clients Louise Houde piece whose previous life was within a heavy antique gilded frame. Thank you to @superframe for contemporising this lovely painting which tied it all together. Also I’m in love with how the forsythias turned out! This rustic ceramic vase was really what this nook needed.

This was December 2019, Tokyo. Jessy and I hadn’t planned on going on a honeymoon but we made a last minute decision and booked our tickets in October. In March 2019, I had suggested getting married in a simple ceremony in Aug 2019 (exactly on our 7-years) as neither of us saw value in the hassle, pressure and expenses of a full blown wedding, originally planned for May 2020. Little did I know that it was the best decision we made. We’re living in crazy times right now and reflecting today makes me so thankful that Jesus is truly the Lord of my life; I may not be sure about my decisions today but I know future me will look back and see the beautiful fruits of His Plan unraveling.

When designing a small living space, especially when different functions are open and connected, less is more. The goal is to reduce visual clutter as much as possible. That’s why we chose a single oversized chandelier rather than a few small pendants over this kitchen counter. The client was unsure about the sheer size but given her 11’ ceiling it ended up being so perfect. Her budget also only allowed for basic quartz counters. We decided on solid white rather than a marble look option because the fake veining just looks so tacky and definitely wouldn’t age well with the home. #bokikwokstudio
