I would just like to send a big thank you to our community for coming out to enjoy the Bolton Community Crew's Christmas in the Village last night. It was a great way to kick off the Christmas season! Very special thank you to Jimmy Luci Pountney for decorating our beautiful tree at the last hour. Your passion for this community does not go unnoticed and we appreciate you taking the time away from your family to help us when we were in need. To Mr. Jerry Gorman, thank you for... riding on the horse and wagon all evening and offering us a lesson in the history of some of our heritage areas in the downtown core. I learned so much in just 15 minutes and would love to sit down with you to learn even more. There is so much history here! To Brad from Tim Hortons and Danielle from the TD Bank for allowing us to use your parking lot when we were in a last minute crunch to change locations. You are both always so supportive of our efforts. To all of our sponsors for supporting this event financially, without businesses like yours we simply wouldn't be able to do any of these events and for that we thank you. St Mike's Senior Band, thank you for playing your hearts out even in the cold! You were wonderful, as usual. Our vendors, thank you for sticking it out during the freezing cold and offering your beautiful products and services to our community. To councillors Annette Groves and Tony Rosa, thank you for always supporting our visions and guiding us in the right direction always. And last but absolutely not the least, our hard working volunteers. Amanda L., Lisa Oppedisano and Lanny, Nathalie Rouette-Andrews, Vilma Lamanna, Melissa Elaschuk, Cathy Beards, Gail Colton, Jason Scorch, Ed Lucy, Linda Nusca Albertyn and Trudy Valier. I am very proud to work with such an amazing group of people and even prouder when I stand back and watch what we have accomplished as a team. Merry Christmas everyone, from the BCC!
