My son has been getting anxiety, I started giving him Lemon balm tea, it has done it's magic. He'll be getting tea with his breakfast for a while My son has been getting anxiety, I started giving him Lemon balm tea, it has done it's magic. He'll be getting tea with his breakfast for a while

Remember to make a removable filter pouch on the inside, you can use vacuum bags, hepa filters or about 5 layers of coffee filters inside a pouch. The virus is approximately 5 microns, and the average coffee filter pores are 20 microns. "In recent tests, HEPA furnace filters scored well, as did vacuum cleaner bags, layers of 600-count pillowcases and fabric similar to flannel pajamas. Stacked coffee filters had medium scores. Scarves and bandanna material had the lowest scores, but still captured a small percentage of particles." https://www.nytimes.com//coronavirus-homemade-mask-materia

Hi everybody, I designed a face mask that can help our elders and health care workers. I'm going to make as many as I can. I'm sending you the design so that you can do so also, what with all the spare time you have. Or not ;-) I drew up three sizes, L, M, and S. You need to add at least 1/2 inch or 2 cm's for the seams (or smaller if you have a searger/overlocker). Here's how you sew it.... Picture 1 and 2 Mouth piece: You cut two identical pieces (remember the extra material around the edges. I added a thin metal wire to the nose piece which is on the (L)'s side of the pattern. The medium is the section (S) and (M) together and small is between the solid and dotted lines. 1. First sew the right side of the pattern together (the large round edge) 2. Sew the edges over. 3. Add velcro or buttens to the small round edges. You can choose between the head pieces: Photo 3 and 4 Head Band model: Again you need to cut two pieces to sew together. You need to add the extra material for the sewing seam the sizes are without the added material. 1. First sew the top (large round portion) together from edge to edge. 2. Then seam the face side (right hand side of the pattern. 3. Sew a hem in the back and insert a draw string to pull it together for a comfortable fit. Same for the full head piece. Picture 5 Its really comfortable and can be worn over top of one of those N95 masks. You can wash them. I'm added an extra padded piece that will velcro on the inside of the mouth cover for added protection. Remember to remove the mask and wash it immediately when you get home. Stay safe. PS: I'll be making some more this afternoon, and will have a video for you tomorrow in case you have difficulty understanding the directions.

When you use essential oils or floral waters you need to be mindful. You need to research your products. I'm seriously looking at my Cedar floral water as a substitute for alcohol in hand sanitizers. There is one study out there indicating the Cedar essential oil (Thuja occidentalis, White Cedar) have shown anti-viral actions. The one I am looking into is our Northern White Cedar. There is a study that suggests it has antiviral properties. Because the antiviral activity... appears to be in the essential oil, you could use the floral water as a base and just add a couple of drops to make your own spray. Now this is where the mindfulness comes in. Most Cedar eo's out there is Atlas Cedar. It appears that some Cedar floral waters are actual Juniper floral water. So you have to specify Thuja occidentalis, if you decide to give it a try. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1062158/
