thanks to inspiration by DJ Gaskin, and her house books, I am going to make a village of my own, I have a greenhouse and an apothecary shop made so far the greenhouse is full of pages of plants and trees, and hosts a poem by a friend of mine about trees. it is 3x5 the apothecary shop is made from a software box, covered in coffee dyed paper and decorated with steampunk paper and embellishments, I have added bits on each page, the pages are brown paper, gelli prints, and other painted paper

the lastest journals for valentines day the pink one is 5.5x7, handmade paper with a bookcloth spine made from a tshirt of my moms, signatures are mixed media paper, and I am going to store a number of postcards I have painted the creme colored book is 5x7, has an ecodyed WC paper spine, with signatures wrapped in eco dyed WC paper. the small blue book is 4.5x5.5 and has a kraftex cover (dyed with acrylic ink) filled with different types of paper and printables

one of my wood challenge books finished the cover is oak veneer, the inside is a blizzard type book holding thick handmade postcards, which have been eco dyed, and embellished with lace, wooden buttons, vintage valentines and such

with the inspired theme of transparencys, and gelli printing with plastic wrap, I have incorporated pages using these techniques in my Winter Tales journal This is a journal I made using printables, ecodyed paper, vellum, leaf and feather prints, stenciled and painted papers, gelliprinted parchment, incorporating pockets and tuck spots.
