Bonabooch Sangria Looking for a different holiday drink? Maybe something to make for those in your bubble? Strawberry Rhubarb Kombucha Sangria is bright and c...heerful with every sip. Great for the holiday season! With strawberries, rhubarb, Bonabooch & your favorite rosé. It's perfect for sharing. #HappyHoildays Ingredients: Rhubarb Simple Syrup: 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup water 2 cups chopped rhubarb approx. 1 inch pieces Sangria: 2 x 385mL bottles of Strawberry Rhubarb #Bonabooch Kombucha 1 bottle rosé 2 cups halved #strawberries 1 cup chopped #rhubarb approx. 1 inch pieces 1 lime, sliced into rounds garnish Make the rhubarb simple syrup by adding all ingredients into a medium-sized pot. Bring to a boil over high heat. Then turn the heat down to simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain mixture. In a pitcher mix kombucha, rosé and rhubarb simple syrup. Refrigerate. Add fruit (strawberries, rhubarb, limes) just before serving. Pour sangria into ice-filled glasses, garnish. Sip & enjoy! This can be made into a non-alcoholic sangria too! Fisher’s Shop on Cape Shore Road. How are you liking it so far?

The crew have completed the roof of O’Connell House and painted the saddle board a lovely shade of yellow in preparation for the next phase of #restoration.

This is the Edward O’Connell House located right on Church Street. Last year, we completed the foundation work and now we are completing the some needed exterior work before the winter.

We put a lot of work into the details that made our restoration of the Lawrence suite in the Barn just right! Open through the Fall and Winter.

The details make a difference. During a restoration we always take the time to ensure all the details are just right. #restoration #oldhouselove #bonavista

Sometimes you just find the unexpected. Theses pics show the boards underneath a house. In one of our most recent restorations, we jacked a home to street level. That meant we could easily view under the home to see its construction. We discovered that much of the frame work of the home was recycled from another building. The home was dated to the early 1900’s but some of the materials used are from buildings much older.
