Merry Christmas from our family to yours! 2020 had been a wild ride and I can’t begin to express the kindness, caring and generosity of people in my life this year. Pregnancy during a pandemic was ROUGH. Especially while doing hair, but you guys gave me so much grace in my situation(pregnancy hormones are no joke LOL). You all truly made this year more bearable and for that I want to genuinely thank you Also our sweet new addition Ruby has been so lovingly spoiled by so many clients and friends and we couldn’t be more grateful On to bigger and brighter moments in 2021

YOU GUYS!!! Today was my last day in the salon before beginning my maternity leave! I can definitely say I might be in denial that I won’t be back until Spring 2021 . I can say that this past year has been surprising, scary, exciting and challenging among so many other emotions. Being able to come to work and experience the love and support from my clients and coworkers has been mind blowing. I cannot ever express how grateful I am to all of you for supporting me in so many ...more ways than just showing up. In such a bizarre time, you guys were my family I mainly got to see during pregnancy. I am so lucky to have had that outlet to a human connection because I know so many have been secluded to their homes and new covid normal. Huge Chop and Dimensional Blonde. We chopped about 8 inches and decided to keep her bright with a money piece, but keep roots soft for a long term growout.

Patience and Platinum Swipe to see her first session into platinum blonde from last Sept 2019. Because we have slowly and smartly lifted her platinum blonde gently over time, she was able to grow her hair long and white blonde. Zero extensions in her hair . The colour we did today has dimension because I put a root smudge for a softer grow out. Underneath that dimension is a platinum blonde application.

This client has been slowly going from dark to blonde. Her hair tends to damage easily, so slow and low always for her hair services. We decided to have some fun today and play with some pink! Her ends were light enough to show off a soft pink like this (basically platinum blonde). This colour is meant to fade relatively quick, so she can dip her toe into vivid colour and see how she likes it.

Decolourization Process 1st Pic Her vivid colour we have been doing for a few years now with a level 4 root touch up. 2nd Pic We decided with covid and mat leave we would begin the transition to something more natural and a bit easier. This appointment I basically stripped her hair as gently as I could. She actually lifted so well! When we’re diving into big colour jobs, my clients know I don’t make any promises on the result. There’s so many variables when your in a colour... correction. To me, healthy hair is top priority, so I will not push it past what it can take. And if that means warm hair, then so be it for now. Luckily this lovely lady is realistic and uses all the proper hair care. 3d Pic When she came in today, her colour had faded a lot, which I fully anticipated and was happy about that. With that fading, I was now able to put dimension and more neutral tones in than our last appointment. What do you guys think? Let me know See more
