Today I photographed a chunky chic in some pretty leggings with Sunflowers..... Her eyes were so blue... When I seen the pants and the color of her eyes I instantly thought of someone... I thought of Hillary. Which made me think about how much laughter she gave me. I am also reminded that we all have to be kind to one another. Make someone giggle.... Share a smile, to anyone! I told ya......here comes the color! . Today I am going to introduce some twins I met last year. Meet Grant and Eric. Grant is the more chill dude, Eric never stops. Both equally cute. They are so so funny when I make all my noises at them...they stare at me at first like.....ok.....who the heck is this lady boopin and boppin behind that black camera?! Then they get used to me and are like oh man.....she is F-U-N!!! . Enjoy this adorable little fam jam who lets me take them on adventures...These two kids make me giggle...Thank you so so much for spending some time with me by the ocean boys!

Brrr....it's cold in here...there must be some Mariners in the atmosphere.....Anyone?? No? (lil shout out to a teen movie?!) . Well I met Hope for her grad session by a riverbank with some fabulous fall colors. She arrived just as her bff was getting her photos done! Hope showed up with a million dollar smile and knocked her session out of the park! I get chills when these colors are behind my clients...like the colors are giving my images a tiny lil high five! . Because look you guys!!!! UGh Fall is my absolute fav time of the year!!!! Congrats to Hope and all of her future endeavors! Much love to this one happy grad!

Today I want to talk about time... Time needs to slow the hell down! I have been photographing Tyson since she was a little girl. She asked me to join her out to Dominion Hill a few weeks ago to photograph her GRAD PHOTOS. I can't believe how fast she grew into a stunning young WOMAN! Thanks for the laughs Tyson! Congratulations to this grad! Good luck to wherever your path takes you!

Yup... I'm still here... Just finishing up some AMAZING fall galleries so get ready for some color in the next few weeks! Today as I watch the trees fill up with snow I am so excited for what I have planned for this year with GoodLife Photography! I am finally at a point in my career where I can say I have a stylized goal for the images I capture for you. Ok Guys I need to tell you how this past week was... . I had been asked to do some newborn twins for a session. I set everything up in the studio about an hour before the session time because I like to envision what I am going to do. Everything was set up. I bent down to move a prop. SNAP! My lower back goes out. I had to reschedule. I was laid up in bed for a week. I finally got better to have the twins in the studio again. I was a little nervous thinking that I could actually hurt my back, and also that it was twins and could I do this??!! . I woke up that day with the mindset that "hey, it's 2020...I am just gonna see what happens"... And well............... Everyone meet Briar and Braun! Two peas in a pod!

Here's to my year of 2020! . Well....even tho I still have sessions till Saturday, I feel like today is the time to write this since I have no room for anyone else until my Christmas Vaca is over on January 4th, 2021... This year has been one hell of a ride! Even tho this pandemic has just given us one slam after another, I have never had such a busy year. This year was the year for families to get out and finally grab those family portraits they have been putt...ing off for years! That makes me smile and my heart glow! Even tho we have a few more rules to follow in the business now, Our jobs of freezing memories in time are so important. In saying that, please keep going! Get those generation photos, those milestones of the first year, those confidence boosting photos, and photos with your lovies! . In the new year coming there will still be changes that will arise I am sure of it. We will change as well, adapt and learn. Keep supporting all of your local businesses so we can all strive! How is everyone doing? I am shocked that Christmas will be here in 18 days! . Everything is Christmas and my brain is trying to fit everything in.
