Lots of time to get those returns done. Starting at $65 a return and can be done long distance.
B.C.'s new carbon tax kicks in on Sunday and that means more pain at the gas pumps. The carbon tax isn’t the only change going into effect on April 1. https://trib.al/P5CmHFq

I was recently reminded the importance of communication, especially if you owe the Canada Revenue Agency, the worst thing you can do is avoid them. If you just ignore them they are likely to target your assets, including your bank account. Once that happens they are far less likely to work with you. Instead make sure you remain in contact, set up Affordable payment arrangements and follow through. If you need to change or alter the amount, contact as soon as possible so they know you are taking the debt serious and intend to pay. If you are unsure as to what needs done, why you owe funds, nor how to proceed please have the agent contact us and we will work with them to get you on track.
A required read for any small business owners!! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1501673216547105&id=114019975312443

Zero interest down payment loans will help first time home buyers, but they may also increase housing prices and drive more people into debt. What do you think?
Don't forget the due date to file for anyone self-employed is June 15 but if owing the amount payable was April 30. Make sure to get those returns in before the filing date to avoid penalties.
If your income is under $42,000 a year and if you have never registered for MSP premium assistance you can go online and apply for prior years with copies of your NOA's and get a refund if you have overpaid. You can also apply for the current year without the NOA as long as you have filed your tax return. Rates below and link to apply One Adult Two Adults in a Family... $0 - $24,000 $0.00 $0.00 $24,001 - $26,000 $11.00 $22.00 $26,001 - $28,000 $23.00 $46.00 $28,001 - $30,000 $35.00 $70.00 $30,001 - $34,000 $46.00 $92.00 $34,001 - $38,000 $56.00 $112.00 $38,001 - $42,000 $65.00 $130.00 Over $42,000 $75.00 http://www2.gov.bc.ca//bc-residents/premiums/regular-premi
Last call for alco....sorry no, for taxes. Due April 30th if you owe and if you get a refund, why let the government earn interest on your money.

As a local business we like to support other people starting up their own business and helping each other get ahead. Visit Lucious Lips with Seema to get the best lip products out there. https://www.facebook.com/groups/199275027211819/
Don't to forget to refer friends and make sure they tell us who referred them so that we can apply the $5 off. Don't worry if your return is already done and paid, these credits will be applied to the next years return. Tax Returns start at $50.00 let us know if you want a quote for a business or rental return.
Time to get those taxes done! You've got a few options to pick from but they don't always seem the best options. 1. You can file yourself but risk missing credits which could make for a bigger return or filing wrong and creating a bigger headache. 2. You can take to one of the many fast tax and cash back places but, how much of your refund do you want to spend on the high billing cost and fees when it only takes a week to get the refund anyway? 3. You can take to an accou...nting firm who will charge you a big bill and take weeks to complete and all you get extra is a pretty letterhead. Or you can bring to us. We are a local home based accounting business, where we use the same software as big firms, but without the big bill and long wait times. We enjoy helping our clients understand their returns and see that they are taking advantage of all the credits available as well as help plan for future years as our lives are always changing. Returns start at $50 and even though the season is busy we are always happy to bring on new clients who want the confidence they filed right.
Got a small or medium business? join me on alignable so we can refer each other.
