https://www.canada.ca//departm/economic-response-plan.html Flexibility for Taxpayers In order to provide greater flexibility to Canadians who may be experiencing hardships during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Canada Revenue Agency will defer the filing due date for the 2019 tax returns of individuals, including certain trusts. For individuals (other than trusts), the return filing due date will be deferred until June 1, 2020. However, the Agency encourages individuals wh...o expect to receive benefits under the GSTC or the Canada Child Benefit not to delay the filing of their return to ensure their entitlements for the 2020-21 benefit year are properly determined. The Canada Revenue Agency will allow all taxpayers to defer, until after August 31, 2020, the payment of any income tax amounts that become owing on or after today and before September 2020. This relief would apply to tax balances due, as well as instalments, under Part I of the Income Tax Act. No interest or penalties will accumulate on these amounts during this period. See more
To all clients, Even though I am open for business and welcome your tax returns, I understand that some of you may prefer to use caution and follow our governments directive of social distancing.. In keeping with this directive, I can meet you at the door of my office (8:30am-3pm weekdays) to accept your paperwork. Lets all stay safe and healthy.

I've had a few phone calls from individuals who are reporting that Revenue Canada has either called them or emailed them and are demanding payments for past due accounts. If you are receiving these telephone calls they are NOT from Revenue Canada. It is a SCAM. Do NOT give them your personal information such as your social insurance number, date of birth and so on... and do NOT give them your hard earned money! Hang up and call Revenue Canada (if you need the number, let me know) and they will either confirm or deny the contact. The only time the government will call you and demand something is when they have made multiple attempts to contact you via mail. Please share this with your elderly relatives! These calls can be quite unsettling!
For those of you who haven't heard... There is an income tax deadline extension. You have until Tuesday May 5th to file and your return will be considered received on time. Hurray!
Most of you are aware of my new location, I am available every morning at 42 Tamarack Avenue (around the back in the basement) from 8:30 to noon. I am always available for appointments in the afternoon or evening. Let me know what suits your schedule! Cheers!
Something else to think about... Are you on EI or will be on EI ? This program doesn't deduct much income tax. Combine that with several T4 and you can expect to pay income tax when you file.

Well tax season is over... for most of you anyway. I am still available to do your taxes even if the season is over. Just give me a call.
I've been asked about my prices. for a regular T1 (personal income tax for someone without a business) it is $60.00 HST included. If you have a business/corporation etc. we should talk about it. Thanks for the inquiry! I am VERY new to facebook and didn't know how to answer your question directly.

Had a couple of inquiries about my hours. I'm pretty flexible, call or email and we will be able to work something out. Thanks.
Something to keep in mind... Do you have several T4? Then you may want to think about asking your employer to deduct more income tax from your pay. This will help you when it comes time to do your income tax and your total income is calculated.
Don't forget all those medical expenses! They can add up quickly! Medical travel expenses may be used as well.. Check with me and I will show you!
Here's a list of expenses you may be able to use at income tax time: Childcare expenses, Children's activities (sports/art/music), property taxes or rent expenses, donation receipts.
Choosing a person to do your taxes is like choosing a doctor, you must choose someone who makes you feel comfortable because they will ask you uncomfortable questions.
For me "tis the season" is not the Christmas season, but tax season. LOL! I like numbers. As I hear a lot of groans and moans from clients I am itching to get started and see what credits will apply and get you the most refund back! :)
The closing of a local income tax business in Wawa has caused some concern, I want you to know that my services are available and my schedule flexible to accommodate clients.
Did you know that if you do your return early (at the beginning of March) you will most likely get your refund within two weeks, in a lot of cases even one week, if you have direct deposit...
