I’ve always had sensitive skin so I’ve stayed away from so many products but after trying @alyaskinaus I’m a convert and my skin care game has been hugely stepped up. No filters and the last picture is my skin after a week of using their products and it’s literally glowing. Thanks @alyaskinaus not only for these awesome products but for being cruelty free and vegan in your processes #alyaskinreview #veganskincare #glowingskin #filterfree

The Year After 21.12.2020

Three years ago we said the hardest goodbye imaginable, leaving the hospital without our perfect baby Beau. This October we fought like hell to keep our second ...son here, after being born prematurely and on the same trajectory as his big brother. October is also pregnancy and infant loss awareness month. It seems bereaved parents inherently know why it’s important for us to share our stories, to raise awareness, and to be incredibly raw. For some of us it’s a matter of life and death. Other women have walked this path and the mountain has swallowed them. I know that death isn’t an easy thing to talk about. I also know that stillbirth and child loss can be even more uncomfortable. Having said that, I am all too aware that it is often the MOST therapeutic thing a grieving person can do. We need to talk about our babies because they were real, and they matter. We need to tell our stories because loss will touch us all, and when we shed light on the darkness it becomes a lot less scary. Light the candles, take part in the movements, listen to the stories, ask questions. We aren’t holding onto the past, we are surviving the present and strengthening the foundation of understanding to lift ourselves and others who have fallen upon this difficult journey. #pregnancyandinfantlossawareness #pregnancyandinfantlossawarenessmonth #1in4 #lifeafterloss #stillbirthawareness #theyearafter #canadianauthor
