We haven't posted on Facebook for some time but are back at it now. Yes, we are still open with the current COVID-19 restrictions in place: max. 7 customers in store at once, face masks required, hand washing upon entry required. This week we have three great sales running (Jan. 18 to Jan. 23). Harleguin and Science Fiction pocket books $2.00ea or BUY 1 GET 1 FREE!... All books in our HISTORY and TRUE CRIME sections are 50% OFF! Come on in and stock up on some good reading.

Books Between Friends is now re-opened. We are now open under the Alberta Phase 1 re-opening rules. OR come into the store and browse, but please follow these COVID-19 precautions:... When entering the store each person will be asked to go to our kitchen sink and wash their hands with soap and water and dry with paper towels provided. Please respect the 2m distancing while in the store. Since it is difficult to follow distancing between the book shelves we are limiting the number of customers in the store to 5 at a time. Something new We have been working during the closure to restock our shelves and make up sets of books in a series by author - on display near the front counter. We are trying something new! Below is an image of just some of the Nora Roberts sets that we have available for pick up for only $6 a set! If you are interested please send us an email with which sets you are interested in to [email protected] and we can set them aside for pick up. You can also include any books you would like us to check for in our inventory, and we can check and set aside any we find! (Please include if you are looking for pocketbook/hardcover specifically) Prices for individual books are in the image below

This week our curb-side pickup days will again be Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, May 4, 5, 8 & 9 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Outdoor Books Nice weather is around the corner so we are putting Gardening, Renovation, BBQ books on display at our back door. They will only be $2.00 each.... Everyone who picks up an order or buys at the back door this week will have their names entered into a draw for a free BBQ utensil set (new). All pickups are at the back warehouse door #14 (ring the bell). We'll have the book(s) ready for you and you can pay by credit/debit card at the back door. Please maintain 2m distancing. Email your regular book requests and we will email back as soon as possible if we have what you are looking for and the price. Allow a day for us to search - we're getting many requests. Kids' Books We have about 2000 kids' books, including chapter books. I will put a selection outside on carts at the back door. You can browse then pay at the back door with credit/debit cards.
