As a mentor at the RBC Future Launch Mentorship Program, organized by the Association for Opera in Canada, I've been paired with the wonderful Madison Angus. Madison is a multidisciplinary performer and portfolio artist with an interest in opera, theatre, digital marketing and artistic leadership. Today marked our third meeting, in which we set timelines for her various projects, talked about the best strategies to build her audience, and analyzed brands that are comparable to her brand (which will be launched very soon! I am so happy and excited to be performing in the Candlelight Concert for Beirut alongside amazing Montreal based artists. 100% of the profits from ticket sales will be donated to Lebanese charity organizations; Communauté des Disciples du Verbe as well as Act for Lebanon. The concert will take place on September 12th at 19h00 and 21h30 at the beautiful new boutique recital venue, KIN Experience (397 Saint-Catherine Ouest). Due to COVID-19, there are limited amounts of tickets available to keep our performers and the audience members safe. 40 tickets will be available for each performance, priced at $50 each. Temperature checks, hand washing, physical distancing and mask wearing whilst not seated will be mandatory. The ticket will include the musical performance as well as non-alcoholic beverages. If you are not in Montreal, you can still contribute by purchasing a ticket without attending by choosing the "Voluntary donation" ticket option. Tam Lan Truong
