Please call: 7806231747 *Another update!* I called the LLB Peace Officers at 4 pm today Jan 10, 2021 and they are back tracking, the receptionist stated that that no demo today for tent city!* But the homeless people have been TOLD to vacate premises. Please keep track of your phone calls to the LLB Peace Officers at: 780-623-6767 (Michelle is taking calls right now). *Update!* The LLB Peace Officers have just extended their eviction date until Sunday January 10, 2021. For the time being, the homeless population can stay in this decrepit cardboard shack! Perhaps even stay warm with a bush fire. Thank you all for sharing! It shows that people care!* This is a homeless retreat in Lac La Biche, Alberta, Canada. There is no homeless shelter that is open to aid, or shelter at this time. These vulnerable people just got told by LLB Peace Officers, that they have 2 hours to vacate before they get bulldozed down (again). Where do they go? There is no where to turn, as the municipality & county turn their heads away continuously. These are human beings. Is there any love or kindness for human life here? Apparently not. Please send healing prayers for better resources, and actual people that care. My heart hurts from this. One homeless person died last year because of the harsh elements. The weather forecast is below freezing right now. Its time to stop the stereotypes, mental health matters. Lots of these peoples come from severed & broken homes and families, some with no parents!
