Ready for a giveaway? Tell me...what is your favourite blend of Boreal Forest Teas and why? If you haven't tried our teas, share which one you'd like to try (full list on website). Everyone who responds will be entered to win a bag of Happy Camper (that's the one I'm mega enjoying these days). I'll draw on Friday evening and post winner here.

Settling in to do some coursework, with some Happy Camper tea (stinging nettle and wild blueberries) as my companion. Stinging nettle is highly nutritive, rich in Vitamins A, C, B-complex and K, as well as minerals, especially calcium, magnesium, zinc and iron. Among many other benefits, nettles are an overall tonic, and strengthen the adrenals-so are a great ally to combat stress. Also contains antihistamine and anti-inflammatory properties. Blueberries are a top superfood.... They are incredibly rich in nutrients and antioxidants, like anthocyanin, Vitamin C, B, E, A, and minerals. Blueberries boost immune function, and are good for heart and brain health. Gratitude to the plants/tea this evening for the nourishment and warmth! Oh...and for my new book, which arrived today!

Hey Thunder Bay! SO excited to be a part of this year's virtual The Craft Revival. Big thanks to the organizers for their efforts to make it safe & easy to shop local this holiday season. Online shopping portal opens Nov. 22-Dec. 6, featuring over 150+ vendors from Northwestern Ontario...including us! We'll have some sweet new items online during that time, including new tea ware and sample packs. ... Like (or love!) & share to help get the word out, and we will enter your name in a draw to win the very first BFT stainless steel, double walled thermos to make it out into world. Will draw Saturday evening.

We spent a beautiful afternoon hiking in the snowy boreal. Brought a thermos of hot water and harvested some frosty Labrador Tea. Super easy and delicious!

A recent early morning hike confirmed it is definitely tea drinking season!! (though that's every season for me!). Find us locally at the Thunder Bay Country Market, Superior Seasons Farmers' Market, Bay Village Coffee, Rose N Crantz Roasting Co., Kakabeka Depot, and the Alchemist Coffee Bar on Frederica! We'll be at The Craft Revival in November. YAY!... Stay safe and stay warm everyone!
