Born again knives

I haven’t posted anything for a while and since there are several knives here at once I will just say there are a couple hunting knives a couple kitchen knives and a couple handy little belt knives. They are all in my repurposed fashion. That is all materials are reused to make my knives.

Some pics of my last three knives all made for different purposes. There is a buffalo skinner a deer skinner and a large boning knife. All are the same as all my knives , built from repurposed materials. Blades all started out as leaf springs. Handles range from walnut to epoxy resin to leather disc. I used aluminum for guard and bolster on the buffalo skinner and am sure is the lightest knife I have ever made. I will use it more as it polished up nice two and is nice to work with.

This is another filleting / boning knife I did. I call it that because the blade is thick enough to use for boning out meat but has a good belly on it which works great for filleting. I have done a half fizzes fish with it and works fine. Just not flexible as most filleting knives
