Massive shout out to Mel's Flowers. About 15min before closing for the day I strolled in with some balloons and purchased some flowers that I needed delivered ...to carp. I fully expected them to be delivered the following day as I knew from a phone conversation earlier they had already done out of town deliveries in the morning. I had decided to use Mel's even though the delivery charge might have been more than ordering closer to carp, for me today it was just more convenient. My balloons consisted of a foil and 3 white helium. The lady at Mel's mentioned the 3 plain ones might not last the night and said she may deliver this evening even though she had her son's birthday dinner and guests arriving to her home in about 30 min. We left the store and shortly after received a phone call from the person the flowers were for thanking us. I was blown away. Obviously she got them which means they must have delivered as soon as we left store. It was above and beyond and all for the sake of 3 plain balloons. The balloons were purchased somewhere else and asked to attach to flowers and they still treated them as if they had sold themselves. For that kind of service I would happily pay more in a delivery charge.....anyday. Thanks Mel's Flowers! Your service is very much appreciated! See more
