The National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts has teamed up with Facebook Canada to launch a short-term $100,000 relief fund #CanadaPerforms that will pay Canadian artists for their live online performances. Congrats to Edmonton's own Belinda Cornish for her recent publication of Category E by the Playwrights Canada Press. The launch took place last week at Glass Bookshop, one of the many local businesses in the city offering delivery of their products. Order Belinda's play to your home! It is a black comedy that takes a wry and unsentimental look at the cavalier cruelties of animal science and asks how we place value on life.
