THE GOVERNMENT IS TRYING TO KILL FLAVORS!! WE NEED TO STAND UP TOGETHER! FIGHT FOR OUR INDUSTRY AND OURSELVES. THIS WILL BE THE END OF VAPPING AS WE KNOW IT IF ...WE DO NOT GET EVERYONE TOGETHER AND SPEAK UP! For those of you that don't have the time to read it all at once, I will recap short form for what is happening right now, and how it would affect you. - The Federal Government proposing a full out FLAVOR BAN in all vaping products possibly mint and tobacco as well. -If the bill does indeed pass, VAPE SHOPS, CONSUMERS and the VAPE INDUSTRY as a whole will no longer exist. - Vaping will not be the desired tool to reduce harm for nicotine delivery and smokers will not use this tool to quit smoking. - People's WAY OF LIFE and HEALTH will be affected and lives will be lost. - Everyone that we helped quit smoking for the past 2 years plus everyone else that has used vaping as a tool or a healthier alternative from before that, will be for NOTHING. - Take 1 minute out of your day, and you can help prevent this from happening at https://www.tobaccokills.ca/letter-1 For those who want to read in detail with what is going on with this flavor ban here it is. The government for as long as I can remember has tried to ban flavors every year but it was never as serious as this because now it's at the federal level. Which means millions of Canadian Vapers will not have access to a healthier alternative to smoking for nicotine delivery in Canada and future smokers will not be able to convert to vaping (most effective way to quit smoking). Provinces that have already banned flavors (PEI and Nova Scotia) studies have shown us the use and purchase of tobacco products have sky rocketed to an all time high resulting with health problems in the future. From that being said, if flavors do get banned, there will 100% be an unregulated black market of unsafe/unregulated products that will also not be sold in a controlled 19+ environment but on the street or by someone that doesn't care about youth vaping. Youth will have full access to these products, there will be a pandemic of kids vaping unregulated juice that god knows what's in them. This will be a serious issue. The way things are now with the vape shops having control over youth vaping is the most efficient way of CURBING youth vaping as we know. If flavors get banned, your local vape shop will have nothing to sell but flavorless e-liquid and flavorless pods, mint and tobacco if we are lucky, and that will be all. There will not be enough people wanting to vape unflavored, eventually vape shops will have no choice but to close, because we cannot afford to run the store considering 99% of the products we're deemed illegal to sell. Soon after that, there will be no vape shops and only cigarettes and other health damaging nicotine delivery systems. If they ban flavors this will snowball effect like we have never seen it before.
