DID YOU KNOW ? Bouchie Lake Hall & Grounds... All of the lighting for the hall, main car park and grounds (inside and outside) has now been upgraded to brighter, energy efficient LED. The lighting for the main equestrian arena/baseball diamond area and the ice skating rink are all operated by a push button switch. Lights stay on for approx 2 hours.... Evening/night time riding in the main arena is now possible. Lighting in the hall parking lot and by the barn are dusk-to-dawn for improved security. Main arena concession also has outside dawn to dusk lights. Looking forward to seeing the hall hydro bill going down This was all funded through the Community Works Fund. See more

Embrace Winter :) The Ball Diamond now has a walking trail cleared for you...dogs are welcome Walking for just 20 minutes a day can help strengthen your immune system...and walking briskly for 45 minutes five days a week has been shown to reduce the risk of catching a cold by one-third. Heading outside on sunny or partly cloudy winter days can help make up for your vitamin D shortfall .

The Christmas Hampers are being packed up. It took 3 vehicles to bring donations from the Bouchie Lake Country Store to the hall. Thank you to everybody for t...heir generous donations of food and gifts and cash. We had a great crew who gathered yesterday to wrap gifts, pack hampers and shop. Thank you to the Bouchie Lake Rec Commission for letting us use the hall, we really are grateful for your support and as you can see from the pictures we filled the hall with tables. 14 families will be helped this Christmas.
