Happy First Birthday Sabir! His Mom Damon sent me this fabulous picture of the birthday boy with his cake. A totally fun cake along with cake pops and cupcakes with fondant toppers to match his cake.

Belated congratulations to Garima and Brian Connelly who were married January 6th, 2021! As they are both Harry Potter fans Garima decided to surprise her new husband with a unique wedding cake. This buttercream cake was decorated in stripes to mimic a scarf from the movie and featured a Book of Spells, magic wand, a golden Snitch as well as Harry's glasses. Thank you Mrs. Connelly for your order - sending you wishes for a wonderful life together with Brian!!

WE'RE BACK!!! We have been re-classified as an essential service! So for the last two weeks we have been purchasing supplies and prepping the shop for business. We are ready to go full time again. COVID 19 update: Last Tuesday the Ontario government issued a list of essential/non-essential services. We contacted our MPP Belinda Karahalios to get clarification as to our status based on this directive. It was communicated to us that our type of business is classed as non-essential therefore The Boutique Baker has remain closed. We feel it is important to do our part to "flatten the curve" as this is a serious issue facing all of us. It is very important to follow the... social distancing measures and to stay home as well to limit our trips out as well as who goes out for essential items. Thank you to everyone that is doing their part. We will continue to monitor our emails a few times a week so please be patient as we will work with you in regards to your special events that you have booked with as soon as updates are received. Update for Our Clients During this difficult time for everyone we have made a few changes to our business to ensure our clients and staff is able to observe proper precautions and social distancing. At this time our shop will not be open to the public but will be by appointment only for pick up of orders. Please advise us if you will not be here at the pre-arranged time as we need to be able to clean and sanitize between client interactions. We ask that you pay for your order by email transfer or use the tap function to pay by debit at the shop. We feel it is in everyone’s best interest to hold our consultations for your orders by telephone with follow up by email of the details.
