It is with profound sadness and a very heavy heart...that I share the news of the passing of ‘our Marla’ (Grodinsky) with you....My right hand ...my confidant..my sounding board.. Marla loved her work...her excitement of seeing a new line was infectious....Marla loved beautiful clothes.... she loved all things that sparkled ...and everything was topped off with her love of hearts ...I think that’s because her heart was so big...so open and sparkled so brightly! I had th...e absolute pleasure of working along side Marla for close to 20 years...we finished each other’s thoughts, sentences and we ‘got’ each other! She will be sorely missed by her Oppen’s family....Haydee, Leona, Constance and Dominique ! And most of all.. by her clients, who adored Marla and loved being spoiled by her...and I know that she just loved coming to work everyday so that she could spoil them!
