Last week it was all brown trout this week its rainbows. San Juan Worm and Copper John did the trick.

Cheeky late evening trip resulted in a nice 18 inch rainbow.

Wading through the best part of the pool!

Great start to the 2019 season! Decided to call down to Policeman's Wednesday evening last week and knocked out two trout in the first 30 minutes, this being the best, around 18 inches. There wasn't a lot of access to the water due to the massive ice shelves that exist right now. Additionally there were small icebergs to deal with. Anyway, a great result all things considered, Size 8 prince nymph fished under a strike indicator did the trick...

Sub-optimal conditions on the Elbow this week ..
