We normally sell these wonderful calendars in-clinic, and since we are still closed to public, what we are doing instead is taking PRE-ORDERS for 2021 calendars. We will take payment via debit or credit card only, with all proceeds benefiting MEOW Foundation. We knew that Scarlet reached her limit when she growled. We did not want to continue her exam if she was this nervous, thus, we prescribed a sedative (like what humans use for sedation dentistry) to help decrease her anxiety for next time. Fear free visits are very important. We find that if an anxious pet is given the sedative they need, they eventually learn not to be afraid. And after several visits they may not need the sedative in the future!

We offered treats, love, catnip and calming essential oils, but sweet Scarlet needed more to calm bee for a first visit. Thus, we prescribed a sedative for her to be given 4 hours before her next visit.
