The Forgotten Corner opens in Bay Bulls. On Wednesday evening, Landscape NL Horticultural Association President Peggy Head and Vice-President Andrea Rowe, welc...omed The Honourable Derek Bennett, Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Municipalities, Loyola O’ Driscoll, MHA Ferryland District, Harold Mullowney, Mayor of Bay Bulls, members of LNLHA, members of the Ryan family and residents of the Town of Bay Bulls and area to the opening of The Forgotten Corner. This project was intended to bring beautification and rejuvenation to a small area, in a high visibility, high traffic area of town. LNLHA members certainly feel that the mission was well accomplished. LNLHA hopes this little piece of green space will bring much enjoyment to residents and visitors of Bay Bulls. A huge thank you to LNLHA members who participated in this project, without your help this project would not have been possible. To our partner Green Cities Foundation, thank you, we look forward to partnering with you again. To our sponsors and contributors, we truly appreciate your support. Finally to the Town of Bay Bulls, it was a pleasure working with you to make this project and vision come to life. Now we start planning for The Forgotten Corner 2021.
Day 6 - Last day This morning Bowring Gardens came in and installed a pallet of sods, this evening Airo Landscapes and Pat’s Plants & Gardens came in and laid a...nother pallet of sods, added some more mulch and did some tidying up. Thank you to J & C Sod Farm for the sods. We hope you enjoy the park, visit there often, reminisce about days gone by, and also make new memories for the future.
