Barry Hodge from Saskatoon Short Mat Club with an innovative idea with a new type of "block." Ordinarily if a bowl hits the block in the centre, the player who threw it has to re-position the block after it is moved back on the white line. With Barry's idea, if a bowl hits the block, it is deflected by the spring wings off the side of the mat and no-one has to touch the block. A great and innovative idea in our COVID environment. Well done Barry.
