At this years Virtual Gala we were proud to present the 2020 Governor's Circle Honouree Award to Anna Strike. For 65 years Anna has been a true inspiration who clearly exemplifies the virtue of good citizenship. She has always gone above and beyond volunteering her time to ensure the community had access to great healthcare - making many lives better. We can’t thank her enough for her dedication and selfless service.

From March 17th through to Labour Day, The Beer Store raised $17,543.41 for the Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Hospital through empty bottle returns and customer donations within our own community! We are extremely grateful for this COVID-19 initiative, and The Beer Store's dedication to giving back to communities as part of their core business values. Cheers!

November 17th is National Take a Hike day. Bundle up and head out to one of Bowmanville's lovely trails! Although the temperatures have dropped, getting outside is a great way to help clear your mind and get some physical activity.
