Happy Stampeding everyone! I had the pleasure of riding in this morning on @calgarytransit with a group of beautiful young ladies in traditional Mexican clothing who will be performing today, a and a whole lot of cowboys and cowgirls. It's days like these that you feel the excitement and spirit of #yyc all around you. ... I'd like to take a moment and do a quick shout out to all the amazing volunteers that work hard to help with everyday services and events around the city. You work tirelessly to serve others and that is recognized and appreciated! I'd also like to recognize the men and women of @calgarypolice who go out there every day to serve and protect this city and everyone in it. (If you happen to be out today, it will be hard to miss them. They will be out patrolling in vehicles , on foot, bike and horse . Stop and say hello, thank them for their service...or a nod and tip of your hat would do! ) Thank you for selflessly protecting us and allowing us the freedom and safety to go out and enjoy Stampede and this #amazing #incredible #beautiful city!
