Seems the World has taken health a little more seriously in the past few days. Public gatherings are now Center mind. Many in the industry DJa and event planners and such are all having cancellations and postponements. All reasonable precautions. Ive a friend who has to cancel or postpone an event in Italy. Given the circumstances reasonable. Putting health first is good. For me Ive a couple of events this weekend. Im sure the topic of conversation will be whats going on. My focus will be on music and celebration. Wash your hands, practice a little bit of social distancing and have fun. Stay healthy!

Last night was great. I had a true test of my skill. Two francophone families, one from Quebec another from France, 40 of 70 invited could make it. The Bride & Groom were so amazing. You would never know anyone was missing. They all danced till the venue closed. Just one of those nights that could have lasted till day break. I had a blast

Special people on a special day. The bride could barely speak when the time came for her special vows. It was emotional. She managed to regain composure and ask him to be her husband.

Back at the #Cornerstone. Tonights party grew from 30 to 100 people. The speeches from the two Fathers (Bride/Groom) were so emotional. Hard to think anyone did not tear up.

Well Ive been having a great summer. Clients every week continue to surprise me. So far the smallest group has been 13 people. They had more energy then groups ten times their size. The staff parties have been so epic I wish they could be every day. The group in this pic had to be one of the most fun. Can not wait to see whats next.

We are at the Exshaw Library raising a little money for the library. Come on down if your in the area. Get your face painted jump in the bouncy castle or shake your tail feathers;)

Had a fun group at the Cornerstone this weekend. A happy couple with some Great friends. Two groups back to back in fact that just made my job a pleasure and privilege.

Canmore Golf Club hosted a huge party last night and Shannon at @mountainscape was there to make sure everything went smooth. I had a great time. The families were some of the best dancers to date. Here is a couple pics of the aftermath. They moved the dance floor literally.

Well with the rain en route we have pushed the timeline up a bit. Fingers crossed!!!

Final touches at the W&D wedding here at the Canmore Golf and Country Club. The family are Working hard to make it perfect. Rain is in the forecast, for now it adds depth to the pictures. Just hope that is all it brings to the ceremony. :)

Playing in Kananaskis tonight, have a family from a tiny town of 300. We have 85 in attendance. 1/3 the pop. Just a fantastic crowd.

Im about to head on vacation for a week. I thought I would share a video of what love looks like.

It looks like a bunch of people standing around, but, they danced then and for the next few hours. Had to be one of the biggest dance-dance families Ive had the privilege of playing to. It was a great night.

This ceremony today was moving. The bridal party came into a special song, followed by a beautiful singer and then the Bride was piped in in proper Scottish fashion. Beautiful.

Shaping the Future 2018 at Chateau Lake Louise was a lot of fun. This was the first moments of the party. They had dance moves on cards hidden at their tables. The idea was they would all do their own interpretations of the moves. It was organized chaos and plenty of fun. The night was like this till 1 am.

Its the weekend, is anyone happy about that?? I have this weekend to prep for the next month of events. Ive some exciting weddings ahead. One Father of the Bride has an amazing surprise in mind for the first dance song. Kind of cant wait to see it all take place.

#WorldCup ski cross was exciting. Thanks to Nakiska Ski Area for the #VIP-treatment and to everyone else for little things.

#NYE2018 is here. I have my set planned. Its an industry party, cannot even be sure Ill have my evenings audience till after 12:( If that is the case we can do a BC NYE, and replay at 1am! Gotta bet the people to kiss!

#Gala2017 was a big hit. Things were good, people danced, the crowd was engaged. I had a ton of requests. Pub was even more fun.

2018 is looking to be the biggest year so far. At almost 10 years playing in the Bow Valley I find myself looking back at all the great parties Ive been fortunate to be a part of. December is busy, and January looks to be just as exciting. The summer is filling up with bookings not many dates left. For tonights big event, its my sons Holliday pageant and Im excited to be there!

Ill be playing at Tavern 1883 tomorrow starting around 10pm till 2am. Come down and help warm the place up! Is it just me or did it go from Indian summer to full blown winter in under 24 hours?

The Quiet before the storm:)

Latnight was a lot of fun. The group was a little distracted during the UFC stream, in fact VERY DISTRACTED. At one point the floor was empty. When I looked to the monitors everyone was huddled and jockeying for the best viewing position they could manage. And all Dancing. Haha. Anyway I got them to the floor for the rest of the event. It was worth the wait.
