Bow Valley Kayak Club 30.10.2021

Hey all. Stolen boat report. We stashed a Medium Karma (orange and yellow colouring) and a Large Ripper (green and yellow) at the put it for the Nanaimo River,... Bridge to House Rock section. We dropped our boats there at 11:10am, came back with shuttle at 11:40am and they were gone. The Ripper has the drain plug distinctly glued back in. If you could keep your eyes out for these boats, that'd be appreciated. Cheers. See more

clubs.paddlingmaps.com hey everyone. I hope you are all well and keeping spirits high.... that's our spring calendar of courses up and live. If you or anyone you know would like to take any whitewater kayaking courses this spring; we would love your support. We have beginner courses for youth and adults as well as our next steps, and intermediate program. All done in the evening after work/school. This season, for the first time, we are doing a ladies night! 2 female coaches leading trips around the bow valley every Wednesday night from June 9th onwards! If this interests you please check it out. The only pre- requirement is to have completed any beginner program (doesn't have to have been with the BVKC). Keep an eye out for our club trips, which are next on my to do list and our summer (July August) calendar will be up shortly as well. I am looking forward to another great season of boating with you! As always, if there's anything i can do for you please pick up the phone. All the best Robbie

Our kicking horse river club trip was a great weekend. Thank you to all for making it. Here are the photos I took just below split Rock. There was a plastic case on the phone but I'm sure you can edit it out if you want. Good way to end the paddling season :)
