Tristan Woodfine, the second place finisher in 2018, ran a personal marathon best and Olympic standard in London. He is also in the lead pack on the home page of the website. We hope to cheer him on in Tokyo in 2021. https://runningmagazine.ca//olympic-standard-for-woodfine/

This would have been Run for the Toad weekend. I know that Peggy and George Sarson are keeping busy after retiring the Toad at its peak.

My e-mail address of [email protected] was hacked on August 18th. I am fine and do not send any form of payment to the hacker. You may also receive e-mail from [email protected] which is not me. Do not send any form of payment to the hacker. They ask for gift cards. I have regained control of my primary e-mail which is [email protected]. James race director of the Boxing Day Runs

Updates on the One Century Run. We keep in contact with the City of Hamilton and the YMCA. The YMCA will re-open on September 8th. The City of Hamilton follows the provincial guidelines for gatherings. Our plan at this time is to have the run on December 26, 2020. If we have to postpone, the 100th run will be on December 26, 2021. The inclusion for all entrants is a neck buff with 100 snowmen. Also available for purchase is a made in Hamilton polar fleece. If you enter this month the taxes will be waived. A decision will be made by November 2nd. If we postpone pre-entrants can choose a refund or 2021 entry. We see many people keeping in shape on Hamilton trails and streets. The Boxing Day website is kept up to date with all the information.
