Hello everyone, I just remembered that these pieces have not yet been shown here on Custom Art Metal Work, and so it gives me great pleasure to share them with you now! These two pieces of wall art are bouquets of field flowers. I have a passion for making flowers for creating them as close as possible to living ones, the way they are in nature. When you look at a living flower, you understand that it is perfect. Nothing to add, nothing to subtract. Inspired, I look at my ...craft for methods to create flowers as naturally beautiful as possible. These methods are different every time; each new flower brings new challenges. How can I make poppy stamens of thin welding wire and weld them together with the same wire without burning it? How can I make a wheat ear looking like a braid but with the grains sticking up from both sides? What kind of texture do I give to the daisies? How do I make a piece of 3/8 inch pipe look like a small and tender bellflower? How do I bunch the flowers into a bouquet that is artistically beautiful yet, at the same time, technically strong? Plunging into these projects, I enjoy finding ways to solve these technical challenges, bringing new blacksmithing methods and techniques to my craft. I enjoy the entire creative process of transforming iron into something beautiful. I emerge only when I have done my best. You can see the results of my efforts here. I am excited to hear your thoughts on these two pieces! These bouquets (as well as singular flowers) are available for sale on my website www.boyarskyiblacksmith.com. Please, feel free to visit and get acquainted with these, and many other of my works. Thank you and have a great weekend!

Hello everyone, here is another piece of work I would like to share with you! I made these musical-styled, door handles for the private, in-home, music studio of Kelowna resident, Althea di Gregorio. Althea is an amazing singer, a talented vocal teacher, and an all-around beautiful person. During the conceptual design phase of this project, Althea asked me to incorporate the treble clef wrapped around a heart into the design. This symbol is the same logo she has on her busine...ss cards and is not my own original design. It is, however, a perfect example of how I work with my clients to incorporate their ideas, concepts, and visions into the custom pieces I build. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Althea to make her dream a reality. I am thrilled to see how fantastic they look in her home and hope they put a song in the hearts of everyone that passes into her studio! I am excited to announce that, new on my website, are some beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces for sale! You can find them in the left bottom section on the homepage. Visit www.boyarskyiblacksmith.com to purchase one of these unique works of art and to see my full portfolio. As always, I am open to any of your home decor ideas and would love to work with you to bring them to life. Please don't hesitate to contact me through this page, or by calling me at 250-859-5770. Thank you all for taking the time to view my post; wishing you all a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hello everyone! Here is my latest work - a wall divider panel for a private home in Kelowna. It's a functional metal installation, which doubles as an artistic decor element. The unique design combines an organic theme with geometric form. I chose to segment the young tree into perfect circles; like pieces of a puzzle, these circular segments work together to form a complete image. The intricate detail is not overwhelmed by an abundance of elements. This piece is simple and ...elegant. Like a sculpture, it draws the eye and creates a beautiful and unique look in the room. The color was selected to perfectly match the existing interior design palette. Hope you like how I implemented my artistic concept into this functional piece. Please check out more of my work on my website www.boyarskyiblacksmith.com and Fb page. Feel free to contact me at 250-859-5770 or through the Facebook to share ideas about metal decor for your home, and we can work together to bring your ideas to life. Thanks for taking a look at my work! Have a lovely weekend!

Hi, guys! It's been too long since I last posted my work here. I'm happy to come back and share my latest work with all of you! This piece is called, "Field Flower Bouquet." A few days ago I came back from the Canada National Blacksmithing Conference CanIRON XI where I proudly took part as a demonstrator. These beautiful flowers are the demonstration piece I created there. Hope you enjoy viewing my photos, and remember that you can always commission me to create something outstanding for you! Thank you for being with me all this time. Have a great week and summer!
