It’s cold and wet but we are dressed warmly and we have towels and we are out getting fresh air.

We've been missing Boyle Memorial Community Centre and Park, but it's good to see folks at the playgrounds and out playing basketball, tennis, hockey, and sooooo much pickleball. What's your fave outdoor thing to do at Boyle?

Hello my lovelies. I know it’s been a while. We’ve been quietly going about our own lives learning how to live in the post Covid world. I hope you are all healthy. The activity council has decided to test out a few different ideas over the next few weeks and to meet again on the 21st to re-evaluate. ... One of these tests is an informal Thursday morning outdoor meet-up at Boyle park, 9-noon. This is NOT playgroup and we will not be using any of the toys. It’s just an opportunity for parents who feel comfortable to bring their kids to the park for a regularly scheduled outdoor play-date. Dress for the weather and bring your own snacks and coffee for now. SO! Tomorrow morning is looking good weather wise, I will head over with the kids around nine or so any other moms or dads who want to come out and meet us and catch up and drink a coffee are welcome. keep following our Facebook page for upcoming one-off events or experimental programming. And please send us feedback on what you would like to see from us this fall/winter.

Hey folks, it’s become increasingly clear that running a soccer program this spring or even this summer will not be possible or wise. We will consider it perhaps for the fall. That being said Soccer is officially cancelled this year. I’m not sure what the BAC will look like going forward but I’m hoping we can find a way to continue to bring you affordable programming for kids and families in whatever capacity that can be done. I will be posting the various resources from th...e projects we did during our maker night program this winter. And I’m playing with the idea of some sort of Wednesday night zoom community kitchen? Where one person leads the rest of us through cooking a recipe? I don’t know but open to ideas. maybe holly wants to teach a yoga class online? All this to say we have not ceased to exist or to think about you all. We look forward to the day when we will have coffee again while our kids play in the gym, when we will downward dog together again, to slam dunk and soccer goal high-fives, to cooking and eating together, to gathering together. Until that time friends we hope you are staying healthy and staying safe at home. We’re all in this together and I wouldn’t rather be anywhere else. Nathalie
