I finally over came my fear of painting brick . Older brick is smooth in texture and easy to paint but 60’s /70’s brick has a bumpy texture . To solve my dilemma I decided to try a brick white wash . This technique cleaned up the grout and freshened up the brick to give it a more modern feel without loosing the brick character.
