Move over COVID, we've got programs to run! Here's what we're doing to help minimize the spread: MASKS -Thanks to Canadian Red Cross, our staff will be wearing masks and while our members are not required to wear one at this time, we do recommend it. (Disposable masks will be provided if requested.) ... CLEANING -We have increased our cleaning procedures to ensure our building is cleaned/sanitized regularly. Thanks to Modern Janitorial Sales & Services, we have hospital-grade chemicals that are dispensed at perfect dilutions to ensure we're cleaning to the best of our abilities. 6 DISTANCING -We remind our members to be mindful of their space and help place them 6ft apart when eating or engaging in activities. Outside you will find jacks along our sidewalks to encourage physical distancing. HAND WASHING -Our bathrooms have gone through some upgrades that included automatic hand soap dispensers, semi-automatic towel dispensers and no touch garbage cans thanks to Bee-J's Office Plus. WATER FOUNTAINS -Our water fountains are currently out of order but thanks to Culligan Water - North Battleford, our water supply is never dry. Our staff will gladly refill member's water bottles or cups from our kitchen that will be sanitized in our dishwasher every night. BARRIERS -Where physical distancing is not possible, we have installed Plexiglass barriers. Thank you Silvester Glass & Aluminum Products LTD for setting our office up for success. TEMPERATURE -All staff and members will have their temperature taken via their wrists each day. HEALTH SCREENING -All visitors entering our building will be asked a series of health screening questions before being permitted into the building. SHOES -Indoor shoes are strongly recommended but when they are not available, please ensure your child(ren) come prepared with a pair of socks. 15 CAPACITY -Currently our capacity is at 15 children (ages 5-9) on our main floor and 15 youth (ages 10-14) in our newly finished basement. Due to capacity restrictions, our programs at our main site are temporarily not drop-in and all members MUST be preregistered to attend.
