Hey sis, it's christmas decorations are done, we'll be launching our holiday waffle&drink menu next week, new clothes will be arriving before the end of the month, we have tons of local goodies to shop from in store, we have live music every Saturday now til xmas & holiday trivia nights are being announced soon.. wow we want to challenge our fellow downtown business storefronts.. we were able to put up a total of 3,460 lights in our windows. can anyone beat us?! let's light up the downtown this holiday season

Hard to believe summer 2020 is coming to an end.. This was hands down our favorite romper of the summer We only have a few left & they are included in our Summer Sale.. only $55!!

James&Valerie planned any amazing event today!! Like WOW, noone could have expected that big of a turn out!! We saw some pretty sweet costumes today, and the streets were full of so many people, it was such an awesome sight to see!! Definitely has to become an annual event for the downtown.. don't worry we'll make a note to make a 1000+ treat bags next year

A year ago today we had our soft opening with family & friends, and looking back on that night my only regret is not having a videographer there to capture every single moment of it! It took more than a year to prepare everything for this one special night, my emotions were definitely 50/50 between excitement and stress. Having people inside the remodelled building, seeing our clothes for the first time, trying our coffee drinks.. I worried about them liking the design, f...inding outfits they loved, and enjoying their drinks. Turns out I had very little to worry about. Yes, we had kinks to work out before our grand opening the next day, but that's the whole point of experimenting on your family & friends first lol! Overall, to say the night was a success would be an understatement. The support and love I received from everybody was more than I could have ever asked for. And although I don't have a video, June 21st 2019 will be a night I will never forget. As many of you may already know, we don't accept tips in our cafe area. I won't get into the reasons why, but I knew from my past work experience when you tell a customer you can't accept any tips some will still tend to leave one anyways. Which gave me the idea, if people really wanted to leave their spare change it might as well go towards a worthy organization in need of it. I thought it was a simple idea that would go over well with customers and help out the local co...mmunity. The outcome truly shocked me, the number of customers we had compliment us on the gesture and donate their change was incredible, I never expected it. I am so proud to say over the past year we have raised $2000 to go towards the Cape Breton Transition House!! Along with that monetary donation, we will also be dropping off 20 t-shirt dresses! Originally I didn't think too much about changing up the organization, but seeing the positive outcome made me want to spread the love around to the many CB organizations that need our help! Every year on our anniversary we will announce a new organization to support. I'm so happy to say for our second year in business we will be donating our tips to New Dawn's Meals on Wheels!
