HOOKED ON HEALTH Lottery is back and has grown! The Peninsula Family Health Team Physicians have joined the Wiarton Family Physicians in graciously providing the cash prizing, which means bigger cash prizes! This year’s proceeds from Hooked on Health will be directed to life-saving cardiac care. Our Peninsula Hospitals are in need of new defibrillators (three for Wiarton Hospital and two for Lion’s Head Hospital), as well as a number of new transport monitors. Recently, the Wiarton Rotary Club presented Bruce Peninsula Health Services Foundation with a cheque for $2000, their contribution to the Foundation’s current drive to raise $138,000 for the replacement of urgent cardiac care equipment for Wiarton & Lion’s Head Hospitals. The funds were raised by the very successful first round of the Wiarton Rotary Wine Survivor lottery. Today is December 22nd and the wonderful grade 7&8 art students at Ecole Hepworth Central Public School were busy making some wonderful hand made Christmas ornaments for all to enjoy this holiday season.
