Meet Norah. A native Muskokan, Norah has been a resident of Torrance all her life, and still lives in the home in which she was born. Norah's a lifelong fundraiser. From walkathons to help build the Bala arena decades ago, to supporting the Bracebridge Muskoka Lakes Rotary Club and the CNIB Foundation, Norah is deeply committed to serving her community. As Executive Director of the Muskoka Lakes Chamber of Commerce, Norah has been actively promoting Habitat since 2016. She te...lls us that every day she receives calls asking her where to find a place to live in Township of Muskoka Lakes, and says, "We turn great people and talent away because we don’t have enough housing here. Habitat builds can make a real difference". Now Norah is turning her fundraising skills to supporting our #BalaBuild, which will provide universally accessible, energy-efficient affordable housing to two hardworking families in #Bala.
