WOW! Thanks everyone for the overwhelming response to my Aliens tribute balloons! I really appreciate it! This was the one balloon that I wanted to make more than anything else and i'm really happy that I finally took the time to make it happen. I hope you all enjoyed it! I'm already planning my next big build which will probably happen in a couple of weeks. Keep an eye out for this one...I think you'll like this one too! Have a great Sunday! - Brad

ALIENS!!!! Bucket List Balloon Diorama Complete!!!! 25 hours of build time...time for a beer and a bacon cheeseburger! This was ALL the fun to build!

So close! Just need to attach the Queen's head and we're ready for a photoshoot! This one is nuts!

Iron Maiden guitar solos make me twist balloons faster Bishop and Newt are finished! Now time to go outside and finish the Queen and put the finishing touches on this diorama of epic proportions!

The Final Day! On coffee #2 and Maiden is blasting in the headphones! Part way through Bishop, then Newt and then outside to finish the Queen! No more pics until i'm done Let's Do This! Happy Friday Friends!

Final Update For Today: I just finished the tail, legs and started the head. That's it for today...Brad needs pizza :-) I'm in good shape to finish the head in the morning, make Bishop and Newt, and then assemble everything and add a few details and fix a few pops :-( We just brought the Power Loader out to the garage...that was fun! Looking forward to sharing the finished product with everyone tomorrow! I can't believe i'm almost done making the balloon i've dreamed of making and talked about for 15 years! This is FUN!!!!

Update: Not a great photo but working outside is great! I'm 4 hours into the Queen and it's going well! Time to make the legs, finish the tail and then start the head which will be challenging! Having a blast so far! Excited to set the whole thing up tomorrow!

Update: That was the most productive 3 hours of balloon making ever! 10 hours total and the Power Loader is done! I need to attach the claws outside though as this thing is massive! Hopefully I can get it safely out of the apartment! A quick break and outside I go to start work on the Queen...why did I say I would also make the Queen Go big or don't go at all!

Update: I'm about 7 hours in and here's where I am. I need to do the front frame, back and giant claw arms of the Power Loader and then on to the Queen I think that's it for today but hoping to put in a full day tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Around 2.5 hours in! I'm hoping to get Ripley and the Power Loader done today and tomorrow I will spend the whole day making the Evil Royal :-) And yes, Upper Torso Bishop and Newt will be joining the party!

Here we go! I just pressed play on a proper background movie :-) Game Over Man! Should I post progress pics or just wait and unveil the whole thing in a couple of days? Thoughts?

Doing my homework for tomorrow's build :-) This one will probably take a few days...hoping to have it completed by Friday. I'm really excited about this one!

Update: The back end is finished! I'm about to finish the front, put it all together and make the doors. I'm hoping to be done by 4 and then we will have an epic photo shoot! No more sneak preview pics but here is 80's David Hasselhoff in classic finger guns pose! I have the best clients! Now back to work!

Update: About 11.5 hours in and it's coming together :-) I still have to add details to the front, attach tires, attach both ends and make the doors. The humidity is making this a challenging build but there will be a time machine in our driveway sometime tomorrow afternoon :-)

Update! I didn't get to do much with this yesterday as a few things came up :-( I'm rolling today though! This is about 5 hours in. I'm getting ready to take this outside to start on the back end as it's getting too large for our apartment! Going to do as much as I can today! If it's not completed today it will definitely be done by tomorrow with all the bells and whistles :-) Note: Please try to keep your posts family friendly as a lot of families and kids regularly look at my page. Hello Everyone! Well, it looks like Balloon Battle Cat is making the rounds again! I'm really happy that I made that one A big welcome to all of my new friends and lots of love to those that have been following me since the beginning! I really appreciate the interest in what I do! Lots of fun creations on the horizon and this week I will be attempting a Bucket List Balloon Creation! A Flamboyance of Flamingos to celebrate a very special 10 year old's Birthday! What a great way to show someone you care! :-) These can be done in whatever number is needed and whatever animal, creature or character that is special to the recipient. Some cool ideas would be Penguins, Frogs, Ducks, Octopi, Monkeys, etc.
