June 2020 market stats

The TRREB numbers for May are in. The year over year numbers are down, which is not surprising given the current pandemic. Things do start to look up when we compare month over month. For that reason, Ive included the year over year and the seasonally adjusted figures for May. Year over year, the number of sales was down 53.7%, however the seasonally adjusted numbers show a month over month increase of 10%. The average sale price continues to increase both year over year at 3% and the seasonally adjusted number at 4.6%. Again, this is not surprising as there are fewer homes for sale and the demand has not subsided. Enjoy!
